Transportation
In the Northshore community, transportation is a basic need: without safe, reliable, and affordable options, older adults and people with disabilities can struggle to reach medical care, groceries, and activities at our senior centers, deepening isolation and diminishing quality of life. Northshore Senior Center Transportation exists to close that gap, partnering with King County Metro, Community Transit, and other agencies to provide transportation options for our participants.
Current Services
• Door-to-door service in the Northshore region for medical appointments and grocery/food shopping
• Service to NSC Health & Wellness for scheduled appointments only
• Individual trip planning for people using transit buses
• Free transit passes for qualified individuals
• Application assistance for King County Metro Access and Community Transit DART
• Information and referrals to other transportation services as needed
All Northshore Senior Center Transportation mini-buses are wheelchair lift equipped, and every driver is hired, trained, and held to our transportation motto: Safety, Courtesy, Comfort.
