Mobile Dental Van Clinics
Responding to an unmet need in the community, Northshore Senior Center (NSC) partnered with Medical Teams International (MTI) and Evergreen Hospital to develop the NSC Dental Program in 2003. From 2003 through 2008, this partnership served 207 people with 582 visits, with monthly dental clinics at Northshore Senior Center in Bothell, using mobile vans owned and managed by MTI. From 2009 onward, the dental program has been funded through single-clinic grants from the Snohomish County Dental Foundation, donated clinics from MTI, and NSC funding.
Participants cannot expect to use the monthly Mobile Dental Van clinics for emergency or routine dental care.
