Coffee Bar

The coffee bar at NSC Bothell is run by volunteers, and offers a great opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones. Bring your laptop and have a little fun at the same time with new wireless capabilities for your convenience.

Don’t forget to stop by on Tuesday afternoons for Pie Day! Where else can you get a piece of pie for $1.75, or $2.25 ala mode? Also, free Sweet Treats is hosted by The Creekside Merrill Gardens on the fourth Thursday of every month from 2pm until 3pm. And the Coffee and Conversation group meets on Sundays from 2 until 4pm.

Daily goodies include cookies, ice cream, and other snacks, as well as coffee, tea, hot cocoa and soft drinks. Generally prices (by donation) vary from 25 cents for a small plain bagel or 50 cents for beverages, to 75 cents for a cinnamon roll or a piece of pineapple upside down cake.

Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Sunday, 2pm - 4pm
 

The Café

Invite your friends or family to enjoy eating out on the patio on a balmy day, or sit inside at the bistro tables!

An alternative to the Community Dining food service, the Café serves a rotating set menu of sandwiches and soups. The food is prepared by Bastyr University Nutrition Program students and NSC volunteers, all of whom donate their time and effort. 

NOTE: The Cafe is taking the summer off.  Kelly Cantrell our ardent chef from Bastyr has said her good-byes and graduated.  We will re-open in September or October with new Bastyr chefs.

Hours and Location 
Located in the NSC Coffee Bar at NSC Bothell, the Café is staffed by volunteers. We opened for business on April 1, 2009.

Wednesday Lunch: 11:30 am - 1:30 pm   
 

Sandwiches include turkey & cream cheese with cranberries, ham & cheese, tuna, and egg salad. Soups include navy bean with ham, turkey noodle, vegetable, lentil, split pea, tomato and more. Each week the menu rotates. We are serving a variety of seasonal salads. And dessert too!
