Northshore Senior Center's Locations

Northshore Senior Center serves the seniors of Northshore and beyond with its locations in Bothell, Kenmore, and Mill Creek, and programming in Woodinville and Kirkland. A full range of activities and classes are presented at the sites to help meet the social, educational and recreational needs of the elders and disabled of Northshore.

Bothell- Address and map

Overlooking East Riverside Drive, Northshore Senior Center’s Bothell campus is a vibrant community hub. Our seniors come to exercise, eat lunch or catch up with friends at the coffee bar. Depending on the day, the multipurpose room houses Zumba classes, line dancing, ballroom dancing or Pickleball.  The computer lab is a resource for both the novice and the tech-wiz. Our technicians offer computer classes, tutoring, and even in-home or on-site computer help at low rates. Experienced professionals teach art, writing, estate planning, anthropology courses and much more. Some of our friends come to NSC to be physically and intellectually strengthened. Others come for a restful place to read, play pool or do a puzzle. In any case, there are friends to be made here.

See our events calendar, You Tube Channel, and Facebook page to learn about upcoming dances, parties and celebrations.

Health and Wellness- Address and map

Up the road from Sammamish River Park, the Health and Wellness Center and the Bothell Senior Center are connected by our handicapped-accessible sky bridge overhanging East Riverside Drive. The sky bridge facilitates easy transitions between meals in the dining room and workouts in the fitness center. The team at the Fitness Center, led by Sal Garcia, develop exercise plans tailored to individual needs and medical history.

On the second floor in the Health and Wellness Center, our seniors can learn to use Microsoft Office, Skype, Facebook or Dragon Naturally Speaking. These programs make it easy to stay in touch with friends and family.

The computer center is also the home for Tech Services which offers low cost computer repair.

Down the hall, Tootsie’s Parlor services visitors with haircuts, massages, and foot care.

Next door to Tootsie’s Parlor is the Transportation office filled with a team that is committed to helping seniors and friends with disabilities reclaim their mobility.

Adult Day Center- Address and map

The ground floor of the Health and Wellness Building is a haven of privacy and care for visitors with mental, social, or physical disabilities. The Adult Day Health Program is state-approved and provides a comfortable social environment for people living with arthritis, diabetes, stroke, isolation, confusion, developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease or other conditions. The center features live music, animal therapy, day trips to local attractions including Mariners games, and other fun activities.

The first floor of the Health and Wellness Center is also the headquarters of the Wranglers. The Wranglers offers year-round, inclusive, fun and learning for teens and adults with disabilities.

Kenmore- Address and map

Near Rhododendron Park, the Kenmore Senior Center hosts classes on everything from fitness to finance. However, its main draw is the soothing community atmosphere. Members discuss current events, local issues and personal anecdotes over coffee, art or cards. The Kenmore Senior Center is more a living room than a facility, and for members visiting Kenmore is less an excursion than it is a homecoming.

Mill Creek- Address and map

Mill Creek Senior Center occupies an office suite near the Mill Creek Town Center, along Bothell Everett Highway. The building is surrounded by community parks and boasts a nature preserve, walking trails, a bubbling stream, a duck-filled pond and a very industrious beaver.

Our classes and clubs are member-initiated and illustrate the array of talents and interests our seniors have. These include chess, photography, Spanish, music and more. We have instructors who teach Tai Chi, Posture Therapy Meditation, Genealogy and computer classes. Mill Creek Senior Center also hosts weekly day trips all over the Puget Sound area, including Mariner Games, Aqua Sox Games, and Casinos.

As with all of NSC’s locations, health education is a priority at Mill Creek. See the catalog for all of the health and safety classes that NSC offers at its various locations.

Come visit us, for daily donuts, coffee and rousing conversation.
