Q. Do I need to be a senior to volunteer?

A. We welcome younger volunteers with parental consent/supervision. Please consult with the volunteer coordinator to determine the best fit for your needs and availability.

Q. My schedule varies; do I need to commit to a specific time frame?

A. We have a myriad of opportunities at NSC-some require a set schedule, others allow flexibility for the volunteer. However, because NSC has so many self-directed programs it is important to notify volunteers/staff if you are unable to volunteer at your specific time.

Q. Can groups volunteer?

A. At NSC numerous organizations contact us for projects known as “done-in-a-day.” This further demonstrates the strength of our community partners as they assist in special events like our rummage sale, painting, landscaping, or cooking a special meal.
