PANCAKE BREAKFAST
First and third Saturdays, July 5 & 19, Aug 2 & 16, and
Sept 6 & 20
8 - 11:30 am, Room 101
$4 member and children under 12/$5 nonmember
Leader: Maggie Parker and her hard-working crew
A hearty breakfast of ham or sausage, eggs, pancakes and coffee or tea. This is a great way to start your Saturday morning.

July 2 - New Zoo News a speaker from the Woodland Park Zoo will visit.

Sept 3 - Bud Krough, a former member of Richard Nixon's administration will speak.

FALLEN SOLDIERS
Saturday, Jul 19, 10am - noon, Free
Multipurpose Room
Michael Reagan, an internationally-recognized portrait artist is offering a showing of his portraits of all soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.  It is his passion to share his portrait-drawing talents with the families of killed servicemen and women as a lasting memory of the soldiers contribution, and as a comfort to the family.

PENNY LEGATE SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT

Most recently, Penny has devoted her energies to bringing mainstream attention to global issues such as vaccination programs, the water crisis, AIDS orphans, and women's health care.

Annual Potato Bake was so successful the Northshore Senior Men's Club is going to do it again.  Bake Potato Bar with all the fixings, salad, dessert and beverage included.  If you missed the first Potato Bake, you won't want to miss this one.

Dr. Chris Fordyce, Group Health geriatrician, will speak on the topic "Healthy Aging: Everyone Can Do It!" Take health tests and get information on physical and mental well being. Representatives from various organizations will help you learn about public transportation, senior residence options, gardening, educational travel, senior center offerings and more. Enjoy computer activities, informational booths, mini-lectures and more. Antique appraisal day
